It ends very easily. She leaves the house, and closes her current bank account along with getting a bit from the house one. She has stolen clothes from a young woman in the inner circle, one that likes western fashion and the like. She has a backpack with all she cares to bring with her, mostly just the necessities. She takes the train station near the bank to Tokyo and never looks back.
She lives in Machida now, sharing an apartment with two classmates from college as she finishes her degree, still avoiding females even if she gets odd looks for living with two men. She works a simple part time job, and it's been almost a year now since she left. She's Akito Inoue now, name changed very quickly and so far she is hopeful of never seeing them again.
She only comes to Kaibara one more time, a wake where she comes dressed entirely unlike her old looks. Short, spiked neon pink hair with a white rose in it. She has on a white choker, white mini skirt, and white tank top with her breasts unbound all in order to not be Akito right then. She stays in the back, and somehow avoids talking to any of the family. She does notice the others there, and for a moment she thinks Shigure has spotted her. She makes sure to leave quickly then, and takes the first ride back home.
Her normal attire is jeans and a button up dress shirt, hair pale pink and grown out long enough for her to wear it in a ponytail. She still binds, living as a male for the most part though she still is legally a female- but she also doesn't try to hide her birth gender, she just doesn't bring it up herself. She misses them, but she knows she lost them long before she ever left.
It's night when she gets the call, she's twenty four now and quite ready to hang up on the idiot for calling this late. But she doesn't, and when he asks her to join her for another wedding she says yes. She's on the plane to America not too long after, and they visit a bit before the wedding. She doesn't ask, but he fills her anyway about the others like she even cares anymore. Why would Inoue care about the Sohmas, some other family he happens to know? Because they both know Akito Sohma died years ago, and what is left now is an entirely different person. He still calls her just as bad as before, and she doesn't argue. She really hasn't changed much at all, besides for one small thing.
Akito is free.
